Competition Class Gliders & EN-D for the Worlds in Columbia

The CIVL Bureau, in agreement with the Paragliding Committee did publish the CCC requirements at its website: http://www.fai.org/civl-our-sport/competition-class-paragliders A short summary: CCC Gliders ************ The list of CCC certified gliders is published on CIVL website (in process are some sizes of Enzo2, Boom 10, Icepeak 8). If a glider is not on this list, it cannot be flown in Category 1 events: World and Continental championships. EN Gliders ************ All EN A, B and C gliders are accepted as they are. All EN D gliders with flat aspect ratio under 7.0 are accepted as they are. EN gliders with flat aspect ratio higher than 7.0 (Axis Mercury Sport, Gin Boomerang 9, Niviuk Icepeak 7 Pro, Ozone Enzo 1 & 2, Swing Core 3…) have to comply with the following CCC requirements: • Lines have to be CCC compliant. • Risers limiters are installed. Deadlines for the Worlds in Columbia are ********************************************* • October 14, 2014: in-flight test. • November 14, 2014: other tests and Certificate of Compliance sent to CIVL. • December 14, 2014: Certificate of Compliance for EN gliders sent to CIVL.
