An den weniger schönen Tagen betreibe ich jedoch auch gerne Modellflugsport, wobei das Bauen, wie auch das Fliegen der Modelle beides seinen Reiz hat. Zusätzlich bin ich mit dem Motorrad unterwegs und verbringe auch gerne Zeit auf dem See, sei es beim Kiten oder mit dem Katamaran.

Begonnen hat alles durch meinen Vater, welcher mit dem Gleitschirmfliegen begann, als ich 10 Jahre jung war. Mit 15 hob ich das erste Mal selbst ab und war sofort vom Flugvirus infiziert.
Wo es mir früher vorallem um möglichst lange und weite Flüge ging, geniesse und schätze ich heute die kurzen Flüge genausosehr. Zum Beispiel ein gemütlicher Feierabendflug, bei welchem mann bis zum Sonnenuntergang soaren kann und danach mit ein paar Kollegen noch ein Feierabendbier geniesst.

Die guten Resultate beibehalten und am wichtigsten, den Spass am fliegen nicht verlieren.

Since I started paragliding, I have become completely obsessed with it! The pure adventure and unmatched scenery make for incredible sensations of freedom. It is the perfect game!

Goals

In 2024, I participated in several top H&F competitions (Jura H&F, X-Pyr, Swiss Championships, TrailFly Lenk, ...). The season was a great success with consistent results! Unfortunately, many XC comps and Vercofly were cancelled.

In 2025, I am selected to do the Red Bull X-Alps! It will be my craziest race yet! I will need all the training and support I can get! It's on 🤟🪂!

Successes

I have participated in international hike and fly competitions (X-Pyr 2024, Mont Blanc Air Tour 2023, Dolomiti Super Fly 2022, Eigertour 2022/23, Vercofly 2023, etc) with good rankings. I was selected for the 2025 Red Bull X-Alps!

I have a good cross country paragliding track record with a 300km flight, several 200km+ flights and 100km+ flights, including in the Alps and the US.

I was USA EN-C cross country league champion in 2018. I also fly in XC comps to sharpen my game.
