Today the tasksetters were a bit more defensive than yesterday. Setting a normal Ager task with a ping-pong in the Tremp area with the goal at the lake again. Weather was as predicted and the pilots made their way to the 135km task. Even then, there were some slow, difficult areas around Tremp, so the average speed (around 43kmh) of the fastest werent that fast than expected. The day is won by italian Manuel Revelli, Petsch came in 10th followed by Damien. Julio in the Class 5 field made it on the 5th place today. Congrats to all pilots for that nice flying day. Hope the good groove is back again!

The weather forecast was difficult as the day showed later to be difficult as well. Strong winds at altitude, low thermal top and still a very difficult task was given. 116km was set, and the first part against the wind. It showed that the combination low thermal tops, wind and difficult terrain that most of the pilots landed. There were only a few that could stay up and make their way with backwinds further east. All swiss pilots landed short. So this was some of those "mixer days" that the ranking got mixed up and reset.

The Task leads us with the wind to east, 130km from Ager up to the border of Andorra to Alp. The way crosses a lot of ridges and valley, even at the famous acro-spot Organya the pilots passed. Petsch could even make points to the until yesterday current leader Marco Laurenzi, who was unfortunate to land just a bit too short. Damien could keep the pace with the first ones and came to goal at 10th position. The Swiss Team had almost everyone in goal, just a few unlucky ones had to land short, but did a great job! Thanks also to the whole Staff Team, who drove back from goal, which took more than 2 hours. The retrieve was very efficient compared to other teams, which were only back at 1:30h in the morning. We are a team of 15 members, 11 pilots, 2 classes. It is also for all of us a test for the next years world champinship here in Ager. It will be today again a good day.

Todays task leads up north of the takeoff, then back to yesterdays playground. 112km total with the same goal at the lake. The race was again super thrilling and dramatic with all the leaders switching places and everyone seemed to have its low-point during the flight. Peter came in early to goal with the leading gaggle. He ends up second of the overall ranking. Team SUI1 ist at first place of all teams. We had almost every pilot in the goal and the work we did since march this years seems to show impact. Congratulations to all Swiss Pilots for their performance today! I hope everyone improves like this in future. Difficult Task of 118km is set. The conditions were weak, windy and cyclic. Thermal tops not that high as the pilots used to have in the previous days. The Task let the pilots to the east, then north and with diagonal through that big bowl and at the end with a final over Tremp and the lake to the goal. Franz could finish first in front of Marco Laurenzi from Italy and Owen Morse from the US. The Team SUI 1 had the best team result. Congratulations all to fight with those difficult conditions!

Registation day: A lot of known faces and a lot of registered pilots from all over the world is a sign of a very successful Pre-World. 28 rigid wings with our swiss representaion with Julio and 112 flex wings with 10 present swiss pilots is a big field. Some of the early arrivals could go fly before registration. The potential of the area is big. Strong conditions with a big playfield shows the potential of the coming days. Lifts of plus 7m brings us flying pilots very fast to the top at around 3500m. A lot of smlining faces at the landing field just before registration is rounding up that day. First competitions day is cancelled due to a cold front bringing wind from the north and a cold snap for the valley ending in freezing temperatures of only 30° celsius. The next days the weather look very promising with weak winds. In the swiss team, we have been working since march this year towards this event. Haveing lots of meetings every 2 weeks to every month, setting personal goals and learning from each other, but there is still a long way to go. Unfortunately the weather in Switzerland didn't allow us to actually train much together. Still, big questions are open on what is a good, efficient radio communication during task and what really means efficient and fast flying has to be answered. Everyone working on its own aspects.
