Leider waren die Bedingungen noch stabiler als prognostiziert. Dennoch wurde ein 60-km-Task gesetzt. Ab 13 Uhr starteten die Piloten, um 14 Uhr wäre der Luftstart gewesen. Leider hatten wir aber einen Unfall mit Regaeinsatz vor dem Startplatz, so dass der Task gecancelt werden musste.

Das Thermik Top war wegen der Warmluftadvektion und unten einfliessendem kühlen Talwind nicht viel über 2200 m, nur am Hang konnte an wenigen Orten auf 3000, im Goms auch 3300 m gestiegen werden. Der Grimseler und der prognostizierte NE-Wind störte nicht, er wurde von der stabilen Luft blockiert.

Morgen haben wir immer noch recht wenig Wind, die Thermik dürfte aber wesentlich besser sein.

The thermal top was not much over 2200 m because of the warm air advection and below flowing cool valley wind, only on the slope it was possible to climb up to 3000 m at a few places, in Goms also 3300 m. The Grimseler and the predicted NE wind did not disturb, it was blocked by the stable air.

Tomorrow we still have quite little wind, but the thermals should be much better.
