Piedrahita is still an excellent spot to finish the european season. We had 2 fantastic days and Chrigel managed to fly more than 200km the second one!!! As a good geneva pilot I explored during the first day a forbidden area and the organization decided to stop my flight where I entered in this zone....this decision was a little bit strange as the organization wronlgy informed us about this area and they first recognized their mistake and validate all flights. However they changed their mind and I lost half of my flight...anyway at least, it was a nice flight in the Madrid flatlands!
Yesterday was a rest day as the wind was not that good at the takeoff,so we had a great BBQ with all swiss pilots in the "Swiss house". As you can see on the picture, there is also in Spain the famous "Rostigraben": it is the wall between both appartments!!!! Today, the task was stopped because of the strong wind.
