Nach dem enttäuschenden Tag gestern sah die Prognose für heute auch wieder gut aus (potenziell 530km). Schon an der Winde merkte man, dass es viel windiger war, schliesslich standen am Schluss die Schleppautos still und man ist trotzdem weiter gestiegen. Yael und Rico sind bereits um 6:40 gestartet, Domi und ich hinterher, Sebastian und Dino kamen etwas später. Am Anfang war es pures Glück, dass wir nicht abgesoffen sind. Doch der Wind gar gut und ab 9 Uhr hatte es auch verlässliche Thermik, ab 11 Uhr sogar wirklich stark mit bis zu 5m/s integriert. Während Yael, Dominic und ich in der Gruppe flogen, war Sebastian und Rico allein unterwegs, Dino musste leider bei Patu landen. Auf verschiedenen Kursen flogen wir so nach Westen, und erreichten alle am Abend das Plateau bei 460km. Yael, Dominic und mir reichte es für 530km, Sebi genau für 500km und Rico auf 498km. Insbesondere die Leistung von Yael ist unglaublich – sie ist bis jetzt die einzige Frau, die jemals über 500km geflogen ist – und das jetzt sogar zwei mal!

While Yael, Dominic and I flew in the group, Sebastian and Rico were on their own, Dino unfortunately had to land at Patu.
