It has been a very complex weather and wind situation. We had these concerns before the task: "Maybe it's too stable, maybe too turbulent, maybe too simple... "

Well, it was stable, especially at an altitude of around 1700/1800 metres, with cirrus clouds and then the feared shadows from Congestus on the main Alpine ridge. And so the field of participants was divided into ‘those at the top’ and ‘those at the bottom’, so to speak. Those who didn't get up right away at the start had a very difficult time. Many struggled at the lower level and didn't get above the mentioned 1700 metres... (50% of the participants). Above it went with usable thermals up to 3350, and there was not a very strong southerly wind.

15 pilots reached the goal, note the three women in 12-14th place :-)
