Much more cloud coverage as forecasted, no blue hole: Not enough thermals, even if the airmass has shown, that only a little bit of sun would have produced good lift.
In short:
10 pilots met at Lehn, we went up with a taxi-bus and arrived at take off at 11 o clock. Time enough to make a briefing about safety, the SMS system and the weather.
Just ready for take off some sun made some pilots climbing, but only for 10 minutes... that was the most of good feelings. The announced blue hole did not arrive, the wind got slightly stronger from west so that we decided to take off as long taking off was possible....
Some super week thermals in front of the take off, some soaring at harder. Thats it...
Next weekend are proper Regio-Flights! Hopefully with better weather!

Remark: The Regtherm did forecast the clouds correctly. In difference to the Swiss COSMO (meteo.search.ch and most of the charts in our weather reports) it is calculated with the German global model GME. Normally it shows too much clouds - today it has been correct.
Remark2: At Adelboden pilots could climb with a little bit of sun and fly to Frutigen.
