Nice 40km Task. Chrigel and Uno Tomoko are the winners + prov rankings
The cue was long in the morning to do the check in... and the sky already blue! After a general briefing we went up to the Brunnihütte on top of the mountain for the Task Briefing at 13 hour.
Führenalp - Buochserhorn - Trübsee - Führenalp - Goal at Engelberg.
The take off was a bit tricky: Partially crosswind. But almost all managed to get off in time. Not all - sorry - but with normal wind conditions 40 minutes to climb 200m to the cloud base would have been far enough....
The waiting was strong and the flight great. The leading group unbelievable fast. Nice view to the lakes. It has been tactically difficult to get fast to the last turnpoint after Trübsee.
Chrigel was leading a lot, but got cached up after Buochserhorn. After Trübsee he could go in to lead again. He wins...
