METEO

The pressure distribution over Central Europe is flat. A north-westerly high-altitude current will bring humid air to the north side of the Alps at times, while the south side of the Alps will remain in the hot and humid air mass of the previous days. Below an inversion at around 3000 metres, the atmosphere is unstable and stratified. At times, denser medium and high cloud cover will dampen the afternoon radiation.
Pressure around 1017, 3-5 hp north overpressure (MeteoSchweiz).

Surselva:
Cloud fields, clear in the morning in the centre of the valley, with radiation the clouds will change to 1-3/8 CU at 3000 m, in the afternoon over the high relief 3500. From midday high cloud fields, development of moderate (partly good) thermals.

Wind:
Generally weak winds from northwest to west.
Normal valley winds
1500-2000 m slope winds from southeast, west of Disentis from N/NW
2500 m NW, 5-10 kmh
3000 m NW 15 kmh
4000 m W 25-30 kmh
General increase in the afternoon, including the north wind component (Glarnerland clouds/surselva clear = wind is pulled in to the surselva)
