Weather Report Swiss Cup Engelberg
Small Cirrus will disappear and we will have full solarisation with only few cumulus in the afternoon.
Problem is the stable air mass up to 2000m. This will influence our day:
- the thermal top will rise only slowly (12h 2300, 14h 2800, 16h 3200)
- as lower the valley as lower the cloud base. At Stanserhorn it will be difficult to climb, activity is late and the thermal top will be much lower.
Wind:
Light valley brise. Small chance, that the wind direction turns to south later in the afternoon at Engelberg.
In altitude general pretty week from SW (5kn), but maybe a little bit stronger above 2800 and in the west of our task area.
