Today started off with grey skies. However, an optimistic, classic, 60 km task with four turn points was set, zigzagging south.
What an amazing first task, given the weather this morning. The task was both interesting and gave lots of options.
Unfortunately, the strong headwind into goal put quite a lot of the top pilots on the ground just short of the line.
Despite the difficult conditions at the end, 88 pilots did get to goal.
1st Stephan MORGENTHALER
2nd Gareth CARTER
3rd Jost NAPRET
1st Seiko FUKUOKA NAVILLE
2nd Meryl DELFERRIERE
3rd Constance METTETAL
